Prolific Pictures
Producers & Distirbutors

Michael Hayes is a writer, producer, and partner at Prolific Pictures, a global sales and distribution company specializing in independent film. A former Nicholl and PAGE Award finalist, Michael holds degrees from Berklee College of Music and Brown University. After two decades in Los Angeles working in screenwriting and production, he launched Prolific Pictures in 2017 to bridge the gap between indie filmmaking and global distribution. As both a sales agent and creative consultant (including for Spiller Law’s Entertainment Division), Michael brings a unique perspective on navigating the business side of film without losing the creative heart.

Germaine Lacayo, Head of Marketing and Distribution at Prolific Pictures, brings over a decade of expertise in international film sales. Before joining Prolific, she spent six years at Multivisionnaire Pictures, an LA-based global sales agency, where she represented a wide array of independent genre films to markets worldwide. Her career began on the film festival circuit, giving her a sharp understanding of audience and market trends. At Prolific, she now works directly with filmmakers to bring diverse, independent voices to digital platforms (like Amazon, Hulu, iTunes, and HBO), physical media (Walmart, Redbox), and global buyers — all while guiding projects from post-production through final delivery.Together, Michael and Germaine represent the next wave of sustainable indie filmmaking: combining creative development with strategic distribution to help low-budget films reach a global audience and build real careers in the process.

Kelvin Abraham
Acquisitions Executive (Global TV & Film) FilmHub

Kelvin Abraham, a Chicago-born Film Executive, embodies passion for the industry. Now based in Los Angeles, he got his start to his now 13 year film career, completely falling into the film space, working as an Operations Manager at a luxury theater chain site in Illinois. There, he caught the attention of the company’s COO who was in town for a site visit, and recognized his potential after speaking in detail. Three months later, She recommended him for a corporate role as a film buyer. Kelvin programmed and scheduled content across 17 locations in that position, sourcing it directly from the 6 major Hollywood studios, as well as a handful of independent studios.

When the pandemic disrupted theatrical operations, Kelvin pivoted into festival distribution, working as a client facing manager ant a tech/post production facility and collaborating closely with festival directors and countless independent producers. This transition deepened his understanding of the distribution landscape and fueled his passion for championing indie creators.

Today, as an Acquisitions Executive of Global Film and TV at Filmhub, Kelvin specializes in sourcing and securing high-potential, culturally resonant content for digital distribution across AVOD, SVOD, and TVOD platforms. His sales, marketing, and festival strategy background enables him to identify commercially viable projects, particularly from underrepresented voices and international markets.

With a strong focus on direct producer relationships, Kelvin is known for unlocking new-release titles before they land traditional deals and for bringing strategic insight to every partnership. Beyond acquisitions, he’s a vocal advocate for modern indie distribution, regularly contributing thought leadership on social platforms and at industry events. His mission is to help creators monetize their work and reach wider audiences in a constantly evolving digital ecosystem.
